She is my smallest baby. Shes 6 oz less than Brooklyn and 1 inch shorter. She is just darling and we are so glad shes a part of our family.

Sunday, December 28, 2014. The Sacrifice of Being a Mother. All I do, is for them, and very little is for me. I barely even have time to unpack. They need my constant attention and it is draining. Why did I decide to have children so quickly and so close together? Why do I stay home with them? Why is being a mom so so hard? .

Danielle told us about a kid-friendly hike to a waterfall up Pleasant Grove Canyon and we decided to try it out on Memorial Day. They wanted to stop every few minutes to explore. I love their curiosity so much. This was a butterfly we stopped to study for a while. They wanted to stay here all day and throw rocks in this pond off the side of the trail. Then we found a little cave to explore.

Went on a fun hike, played at the beach, surfed waikiki, ate at some of our favorite spots, played with our friends, enjoyed some time with each other and told our kids all about this special island that brought Pehrson and I together.
